Big Brothers Big Sisters offers a unique brand of one-to-one mentoring that is safe, professionally-supported, and a proven strategy for helping children and youth at-risk. The program “matches” each child with a caring, adult mentor and together they spend time with one another on a regular basis. Programs include the traditional community-based mentoring program, and school-based mentoring programs at Seymour, Crothersville, Brownstown and Medora Schools.

Approximately 300 children and volunteers participate in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jackson County each year.
