At READ Jackson County Coalition on Literacy our mission is to sponsor educational programs and services designed to empower adults and their families with literacy skills and practices to function effectively in Jackson County. Our services include, one-on-one tutoring for Basic Literacy, ESL (English as a Second Language)and GED. We offer group classes for Family Literacy, Conversation, pre-GED and GED. Computer instruction with Rosetta Stone and Sed de Saber are also available for individual use. Our library is always open. We encourage our adult learners, along with their tutors, to explore and make use of our workbooks, textbooks, novels and tapes."
