Meals on Wheels Turning Point

Every year, The Salvation Army touches the lives of more than 900 people in the community. The assistance ranges from a friendly visit and small gift for a shut-in or nursing home resident at Christmas to providing for a utility or rent payment to keep a family warm and secure during the cold winter months. Whatever the service or assistance provided, the Salvation Army's assistance program is designed first and foremost to meet critical needs. Providing groceries to a family waiting for food stamps...rent assistance to a family facing eviction...or medication for an elderly person on a fixed income are just a few of the critical needs met by Salvation Army volunteers on a daily basis.
