Marc Woods will serve as chairman for the 2010 Jackson county United Way campaign. Marc served as co-vice chairman along with his wife Missy in 2009. He was Business Division chair in 2006, 2007 and 2008 campaigns. Marc helped, along with his wife Missy; initiate the first Business Blitz, a one day campaign event for solicitors to personally visit small business owners in Seymour to share the United Way story. He also served as a solicitor in 2004. He has been serving the community real estate needs since 2002. Marc is a certified negotiation specialist, residential marketing specialist and is certified in relocation. He graduated from Leadership Jackson County in 2005 and earned the 2005 Volunteer Award for Class Project from Turning Point. He volunteers for Salvation Army; he was on the Economic Development Committee for Main Street, is in charge of the Jackson County spelling Bee, a member of the Schneck Hospital Society, a member of the Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Marc is originally from Seymour. Marc and his wife, Missy, have two sons, Matt and Lawson. Some of his hobbies are spending time with his family and their dog, Bella; running, nature hikes. He is also an avid fan of IU basketball and football.

Jackie Sciarra is serving as vice campaign chair. Jackie is AVP and Trust Officer at Jackson County Bank. Jackie has acted as a solicitor for United Way as well as serving on the United Way Board and the allocation committee. Jackie has been in banking for over 30 years in the Jackson County community. Jackie is a graduate of the ABA National Trust School and attended University of Indianapolis. She has been a board member of the Foster Grandparent Program for over 15 years as well as a past board member of Girls Inc. Jackie is a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church where she volunteers many hours. She is married to Bill Sciarra. They are the parents of two daughters, Lisa and Jill, and have ten grandchildren. Jackie enjoys spending her spare time with family, gardening and reading.
