Turning Point provides food, clothing, and personal care items for short-term relief. Emergency transportation is also available from anywhere in the service area to the shelter. Advocacy, support groups, children’s programming and a strong referral system provide immediate assistance to residents of the shelter. Turning Point’s Outreach Program provides support groups, domestic violence, and sexual assault education, emergency transportation, and the establishment of social relationships. Turning Point’s target population encompasses anyone, male or female, who is a victim of domestic violence.
