Have You Experienced Changes in Health Insurance?

During the pandemic and afterwards, everyone deserves access to healthcare.  Currently, there are over 4,217 people in Jackson County who qualify for Medicaid but who aren’t enrolled.  If all 4,217 were enrolled, insurance rates would drop for everyone and an additional $27 million dollars would be added to our local economy in insurance payments to physicians, hospitals, and other medical professionals.

If you need health insurance or know someone who needs health insurance, Covering Kids & Families (CKF) of United Way offers free, local, and unbiased assistance to anyone needing to enroll in Medicaid or Marketplace health insurance.  CKF of United Way has certified Navigators who are trained and experienced in Medicaid and Marketplace enrollment.  Jackson County United Way is the lead agency for Covering Kids & Families in Bartholomew and Jackson counties.  There is no cost for Navigator assistance.

CKF of United Way Navigators are eager to help anyone who needs health insurance.  To make an appointment, please contact Navigators at:
